Change Windows Media Player Background Wallpaper

Hey there, Today i will show you that how can you change your windows media player background wallpaper. This trick is for geeks because post is gonna longer coz i have given every detail and included every steps so that it will be easy to understand the post this is a older trick but with a new way of tutorial with noob friendly and with all steps .Most of us use windows media player to play our media stuff but with the same background of this player its look like little bit boring so we want to change the wallpaper and for this we are going to use a resource tuner to change the resource of this player so lets do it ..

STEP 1: First i am going to use resource tuner to change the resource file which i have uploaded with crack to my cloud storage ,so download it from here : DOWNLOAD

STEP 2 :OK now after installing the program we need to take ownership from system 32 file so you need to install the reg file from here :DOWNLOAD install it and take ownership from system 32 as shown below

STEP 3: Now we need to take permission from system 32 to do this right click, go to properties, then go to security then select "EDIT" then click on allow that should select every check box then OK as shown below.

STEP 4: Now search for "wmploc.dll" in search bar of system 32 folder

STEP 5: No we need to take permission from this file also (if you don't want to make your step longer ,because it could work also if we dont take ownership from this file separately but taking ownership from this will be better) as we did with system 32 file so first right click and take ownership then go to properties, security then "EDIT" then select allow it should select alll check box as shown below

STEP 6: Copy the file (wmploc.dll) to your desktop and open the file with resource tuner then go below and select number "257" file then on right side select "5321" and open it

STEP 7: Now right click on the background and select "Replace resource with".

STEP 8: Select your desire image and remember your image dimension should be 800*600.

STEP 9: Now save the edited resource file on your download or some other directory.

STEP 10: Again go to the file in system 32 folder and cut the file wmploc.dll then paste it to some other directory or you can simply rename the file as "wmploc.dll.bak"

STEP 11: Now copy you modified "wmploc.dll" file and paste it to your system 32 folder refresh the folder and open your media player then you can see change as shown below
